Meet Dylan Thomas

I am running for Associate Circuit Judge of McDonald County because I believe I am well-suited for this important role. A good judge must not only possess a strong understanding of the law but also have the ability to apply it fairly and listen with an open mind, ensuring that every individual has their day in court.

Above all, I am running for judge because it provides me with the opportunity to serve my community in a field I am deeply passionate about—the law.

My experience in both law school and legal practice has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess cases objectively, review evidence thoroughly, and make well-reasoned decisions based on the law and the facts.

More about Dylan Thomas

I have been a proud resident of McDonald County for most of my life. I moved here at the age of 12 and graduated from McDonald County High School in 2006. I continued my education at Crowder College in Neosho and Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration and justice studies. In 2014, I obtained my law degree from the University of Arkansas. Since then, I have been practicing law in Pineville, and since 2020, I have successfully managed my own law practice.

My wife, Kya, is a dedicated special education teacher at McDonald County High School and a lifelong resident of Anderson. Together, we have two wonderful sons. Kase, our six-year-old, is a kindergartener at Anderson Elementary who enjoys t-ball, soccer, and learning karate. Our youngest, Kade, is 10 months old and a joyful addition to our family. In our free time, we cherish moments spent with family and friends, and I personally enjoy reading, watching documentaries, fishing, and working on cars.
